Consuelo is a Professor of Human Resource Development (HRD) with 30 years of global consulting experience. She has led several HR program innovations. Presently, Consuelo serves as the founding director and chief designer of the Executive Master of Science in HRD program at the University of Houston. In addition, Consuelo conducts research on executive education, learning, mergers and acquisitions, and global HRD. Consuelo has a Ph.D. in HRD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is the recipient of a Fulbright Student Award and a Fulbright Scholar Award.
